The Department of Paediatrics, together with the University of Cambridge, is committed to reducing our environmental impact
Who are we?
We are a committee of five in the Department of Paediatrics. Our goal is to make positive changes in a fun and engaging way to make a real difference to environmental and sustainability change within the University of Cambridge. Part of our task is to involve staff in fun challenges and charity events to raise awareness and make a difference.
Why is it important that we are part of Green Impact?
The University of Cambridge is committed to making a positive impact through outstanding environmental sustainability performance. Members of the University can develop and share their knowledge, skills and experience to engage with and contribute effectively to achieving the University’s environmental sustainability aspirations.
What is our goal for 2020?
In 2019, we were awarded Silver for our work in improving the Department. However, our job doesn’t end here – our goal is to achieve the Gold award in 2020. Further information can be found here: https://www.environment.admin.cam.ac.uk/green-impact
